I know but one shouldn't have to do anything. 😂 The technology is there to do it all for you. 😂 You can just sit back and enjoy life. By adding your own tariffs means you are doing the tech out of a job. 😥
Long live human beings. 👴👽
I do use a bit of technology occasionally but always like an old tech 'backup plan'. Case in point, my telly. By pushing the correct buttons on the remote, I can get a full audiovisual summary of what the weather is supposed to be doing. It's a handy feature and even better if it happens to be the lovely Carol Kirkwood giving the forecast.
Even so, I still always double check using the old tech, tried and tested method of looking out of the window to see if I need a coat!
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Yes but later in the thread it says things are expected to be 'working as normal by now' (4 weeks ago) and a manual push should do the trick. A manual push is what we requested.
Well it certainly changes the tariffs. 😂. That has been solved but to the wrong tariffs, that's the bit that hasn't. 😂.
Does also say 'back to normal ', but what is normal!?🤔 😂
True we have done everything our end by the book. If anyone out there knows the answer, please feel free to elaborate. 👽😉
I obviously use technology for certain things but I refuse to become reliant. I always have a plan B for the day someone pulls the plug on the Tinternet and the world 🌎 stops. 😂
The old ways are the best. 👴
The only place that the IHD gets tariff rates from is the meter itself, there's no other way for it to be changed. Hence why I often say the Update Tariff Configuration command should be targeted at the meters rather than the IHD.
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...
Pete is an IHD Tariff Update Robot! 🤖 Anasa is a Giant Enemy Robot Spider 🕷 🤖 Hannah is neither! Need Customer service? click here! Replacement IHD Guide? Here it is!
I did put the title 'Smart Meters and IHD Tariff Update Request' on my initial email so I would hope whoever deals with it at the other end would know what to do by now to make things as they should be. Why does it have to be so difficult?
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
It doesn't. They just fling the SMETS Command at the Comms Hub and it does the rest. At least, that's how it's supposed to work. Pete used to fling hundreds of them every day after all!

Could I ask if this will work for old NPower meters and IHD. 😉
