That reminds me of the first Sunday dinner my new wife (at the time!) cooked me - it was a 3 course meal - 1st course the veg, 2nd course the potatoes, 3rd course the meat - she'd started cooking all the food at the same time🤣🤣🤣🤣
IHD Tariff Update Request More Troublesome Than Normal

Well, I woke up early and couldn’t resist nipping downstairs for a peak. Still no update. I couldn’t be bothered resetting the IHD. Still no usage info since 7 July on the apps either.
Maybe I should have left out the sarnie and pop after all. Mind you, I was given the cheapo update that takes 3-5 working days so I need to be more patient… much more patient 🫤☹️😩I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit. -
I stayed with a family in the south of France for a few days in the 70s and dinner was always served a bit like that… meat first then when that was eaten, potatoes… It prolonged the meal, which was ok with me as there was always plenty of vin rouge on the table 🍷🍷🍷😃 -
May be the BCBP is waiting for the right weather conditions to instigate initiation procedures. You don't want the radioactive particulates contaminating @retrotecchie 's fusion generator do you! He wouldn't be able to make those tremendous savings! I think you are right more patience required and keep an eye on the Met Office reports. 😂😂😂😂😂👽
I see there was an update last night for the EoN app v 1.8.0. 👴
It's strange about your apps not showing usage. As I said I did have a blank for about a week but both apps are repopulating and are now virtually up to date.Last edited by WizzyWigg; 20-07-23 at 07:46. Reason: More information

@WizzyWigg
Well, I just deleted and reinstalled the Eon Next app again and it’s still missing data as before.
Did your IHD update on its own or did you have to reset it in any way? -
@WizzyWigg
Ah, ok... thanks. I've never had to reset it before to get updates, nor been asked to do so, but when I requested the update a few weeks ago I was told to switch it off, unplug it, take it to the meter, switch it on, wait for it to display things and then go and plug it back in... it didn't work 😕
Then i noticed that @LeeDQ_EONNext advised someone that... ''The updates usually take 24 hours, well after midnight. I would request the tariff update and potentially unplug your device and allow the battery to run down, this should reset the IHD and allow any pending updates to take place.''
This time the 'energy specialist' advised that the update should be in the next 3-5 working days... no mention of resetting the IHD.
I would have thought there would be a standard procedure and time frame but there you go.
Tum-ti-tummmm 😑
