Morning @JoeSoap How was the ceiling! 👽 This morning my IHD agrees with Bright(DCC) 😀, but of course they are not the V4 figures. What figures they are I would love to know. I shall do some in-depth analysis later. 😉
Thinking about last night, I'm wondering if in your case they closed your account and then reinstated it to try and force the tariffs through. Could this be the workaround? Have you checked your online this morning?

Well, no new cracks were observed on the ceiling. Actually, I slept quite well but with some weird dreams.
So, I having been told another update was applied last night, I checked this morning and no change. I then re-booted the IHD as per the instructions given and all tariffs are still wrong. This was no surprise as the electricity unit rate on the smart meter was also still wrong
Oh, and my account is still bereft of the £150 that was taken last night and my future monthly DD amount is still around £50 higher, due to my credit balance being ignored.
If the DD stays as it is I'll just withdraw my balance but I want my £150 back.
Bottom firmly on hands 😂 , definitely not at the moment going to bother progressing the problem. I'll join the 37% (2022) that have or had issues. 😆
If any consolation when I was working we had a sort of similar situation trying to network particular medical devices throughout the UK. It's sorted now but boy did it take time and money. New devices, legacy devices, different software/firmware, different LANs and so on and so on. All that was just a drop in the proverbial ocean compared with smart meters.

There are two issues which are really unconnected. Sorting your correct tariff out, with NO exit charges!, is one thing and applies whether one has a smart meter or not.
The other is the data shown on your IHD (which for new forum members information, comes from the meters themselves via your communications device attached to the electricity meter.
Both issues are for EON to solve. And we know that in general their customer service is amongst the worst out there. But two complaints are called for, and if the meters and IHD had been configured properly in the past (and there have been multiple tariff changes in last 18 Months) what's so different this time?

Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
I continue to be amazed by the complexity of Smart Meter communications, and the security surrounding them. I wonder whether It really needs a quick and dirty public enquiry to get to the bottom of where the problems actually lie. The north uses a different system to the south , but do both utilise the DCC? And is performance any better in one compared to the other?
