@retrotecchie thanks. But can't believe it's not all visible in an app, by the month/year. Reading meters manually is all a bit retro these days :-/
Hence my username, but it's how we did it for decades before all this new-fangled 'smart' nonsense came along!

Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
@retrotecchie Sometimes the tried and tested ways are the best, smart definitely has its purpose. With Solar the teams would reject anything from a Bluetooth or wireless device anyway, its always best to read the physical meters or as you say 'the retro way'
@AliMoir Have you set up a Smart Export Guarantee account with us yet? (SEG) The smart part just being your meter will record export?

@AliMoir Have you looked into a 3rd party app? such as solar edge?
You could always record the export meter each month, that way you would know what's going back. I always recommend people record their solar information on the off chance that if your system had an issue, you would be able to tell. You would need the data to be able to notice this though.
How often it is up-to you, we've seen people reading them once a week, meters can go blank, inverters can fail, panels can stop working. This would prevent it taking 3-12 months before you noticed an error.
You never know people do have systems that never go down, the above is just a precaution.
Thanks
