Just confirmed with e.on on Twitter that the exit fees only apply if we move to a different supplier, but "you can change to any tariffs within E.ON Next for free of charge" so seems like a no brainer to switch to the cheaper fixed now and then switch again if prices go down? Or am I missing something?!

I read that earlier this morning. We never know what’s around the corner… that’s why I like fixed tariffs as a general rule 🤓
Did you see yesterday they were trying to plug heat pumps on Country File. Truth have it is the initial cost. Even with the government contribution is still a whopping outlay. With the way general household costs are at the moment not everyone could afford them. I'll be surprised if the new target of 600,000 a year is viable. 👴
