Hi, we recently started to use our Duet 2 IHD, that we’ve had since we were with NPower, again as eon next are having difficulty getting data & meter readings from our gas meter (electric one usually communicates fine although has been patchy the last week) and I wanted to see if it would help (Han & WAN lights now both green and slow flashing when Han was red before) - anyway I’ve noticed that the tariffs on the IHD are different to those on the eon next app & online account and our most recent bill. IHD tariffs are the same as those shown on the Bright app which I recently set up, so I’m a bit confused as to which are our current post April 1st Tariffs - have attached photos of the different tariffs below which I hope will help. Any chance someone - perhaps @theunknowntech - tell me which are the correct tariffs and escalate this to someone to update the tariffs on my IHD if needed.
Also if anyone could look at the gas data / meter reading issue as well that would be great.
My mother is the account holder so if you need her name and the account number or any smart meter photos etc then I can private message these to you.
Hello @ChrissieMags23 Anasa here 👋 It's great to have you here! 😁 And I see you've reached out to @theunknowntech our IHD/Smart wizard!
Some IHDs don't always update straight away when your tariff changes and sometimes it'll need a little nudge in the back ground from us to get it updated if it doesn't do it automatically.🤯
The Tariff on your bill is the correct tariff that will never be incorrect so please always go with the tariff on your bill.
If you can get in touch with one of our Digi Energy Specialist they'll be able to look into this for you. If you need to discuss anything specific like bill amount. balances we'll need permission from the account holder but if you let them know it's likely you'll need an IHD tariff update they'll be able to do this for you. If that don't work we'll look into it further 😊
Also just added this link as per mentioned by @WizzyWigg below ( just in case you don't spot it!) May shed some light on the recent tariff changes Price change/tariff update

@Anasa_EONNext
Thought it might be of use simply because this is exactly the problem I have. I was NPower and have a Geo Duet 2. Smart meter team are supposed to be looking into it but no timeline.
This was the reply from CS last week:
Hi there , upon checking for an update I have found that the issue has no time frame to be fixed. I can assure you that we are working on it still and it will be resolved as soon as possible.
Kindest regards

Reason: Extra information
Yeah, the Npower variant of the Geo Duet II is known to be fussy about tariff updates. It doesn't seem to handle being away from Npower as cleanly as other IHDs do.
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

Thanks for that @theunknowntech it’s interesting to know that my IHD is probably being awkward on top of the issues in the link provided by @WizzyWigg - suspect they are not going to be quick at sending out the update they are working on to fix this tariff problem, so won’t be holding my breath on this one!
Meanwhile any thoughts on or direction to helpful threads regarding my issue with gas data and meter readings not getting received by eon next would be gratefully received.😀
Check your meters are visible to the network. If they are, the problem is with E.On Next's end. If not, then all bets are off until your meters are replaced...maybe by 2026 if you are lucky.
