HI Hannah, I do not know if it has export or not, I will have a look but certainly there is no obvious register (much scrolling required I guess) and I have no instructions. I have recited the story via a Twitter message but have not had a response. Anyway, the meter was installed by EoN when this house was built, about nine years ago. Electricity then passed to Bulb but the meter never got changed and it has always been a matter of me doing manual readings. Bulb have of course been taken over by Octopus who are saying they cannot change the meters for ex Bulb customers at this time and have no timeframe. I need a smart meter as we are having solar installed together with an ashp. The only way it seems is to change supplier so I though why not just go with EoN, if they can sort out the meter.
Many thanks for this, much appreciated and no I had not seen it. I quick browse suggest there is an export meter and that the meter is in fact smart. It says:"The meter is fitted with a GSM modem and will use SMS messaging to receive credit transactions, tariff and configuration updates. It may provide periodic scheduled reads and additionally ad hoc reads of register values and other data on command. "
