Hi
I actually got the £200 paid into my account on Friday. No email to tell me it had been paid....I had to keep checking my bank.
This however was only paid after I contacted my MP who sent them an inquiry regarding late payments.
The council were coming up with excuse after excuse...lack of staff, clarity needed from government...blah blah blah....
Ridiculous that I had to contact my MP!
I will name and shame:
Market Harborough District Council!!!
Wow @XL5🤯 I'm so pleased that you've been able to receive your payment. It's not ideal though that you had to reach out to so many different places to get the right answer for something that you were entitled to!
I don't blame you at all for naming and shaming it's the only way you can try and make sure it doesn't happen again and they are accountable for their actions.
I'm sorry that it took so much effort to get what is owed to you, I really appreciate that you've come back on here to let us know as I imagine you won't be the only person that has to chase this up so it's really handy to have this on the forum 😊
You need to move to Wales! Not only do you get the Government AFP oil money on time, but the Welsh Assembly give you another £200 towards your oil too!
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
I agree, we have to pay for prescriptions, social care is free if assets and under £50,000 England is £14,250 and you still have to contribute...sell your house to pay for it...I could go on....
