Okay, I am a bit confused, not hard I know.
My smart meter has finally updated to the new tariff I was put on at the start of this month.
However the tariff figures showing on that are higher than them showing on my account online, which one should i use when calculating my usage?
Damned if I know.
Go by the letter/email (if you got that) and then check that your online account shows the same tariffs. The IHD is not gospel particularly at changeover dates of tariffs.
Things are in a mess right now, that's for sure. We're told that we will be billed correctly so let's hope so. For now I would take any tariff info on an email as the most likely to be correct, followed by what your account says. The last thing I would believe right now is what is showing on the IHD. My account is a total mess with nothing as it should be.
You could send an a email to hi@eonnext.com with Request IHD Tariff Update as a title and put your account details in the text.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
We've made some changes recently, and it looks like the tariff info sent to your Smart Meters is displaying your rates without the Direct Debit discount.
You'll still be billed correctly, as I can see from your online account screenshot that the Direct Debit version of the tariff is what's displayed, but I'm afraid it will look like your usage is higher due to the tariff info showing on your in home display 😬 sorry about this.
I've seen that the team is aware of this, and we're working on sending out new tariff updates so that the correct rates you're on are what are displayed on your in home display.

This is a common problem that has been highlighted in several threads. As we now know the the problem and the team are working to resolve it. Would it be a good customer service idea to maybe send a communication out via any of the following email, online account, app, or even a community sticky?
Do we have any idea when the IDHs will show the correct tariffs?
The changes made have been applied to everyone's accounts, though from what we understand, the issue hasn't affected everyone's IHD's, it appears to have affected a fair few.
I'll put it to the team to see if we can get some communications sent out in relation to the issue, as well as look to get something up here on the Community, thanks for the suggestion!

I am one that has been affected. OK doesn't phase me as I use kw/hr not £/hr and do my own calculations. Saying that there has been quite some confusion on which is correct, the online/documentation or what's on the IHD.
