Hi,I have called twice regarding my alternative fuel payment (2nd March & 15th March) being paid directly into my bank account as I use heating oil,But as of yet,it still hasnโt been paid to me,I am in credit with my electricity & I would like the payment of ยฃ200 to be paid to me directly,Please,I am fed up of having to explain this to you, thank you.
Direct Debit / Receipt of Bill Customers - The ยฃ200 will be added to your electricity account
Prepayment Customers - Will receive a voucher for the ยฃ200
Smart PAYG Customer - Will receive the ยฃ200 direct on to their electricity meter.
If your energy account is in credit you can request a refund so that the ยฃ200 credited to your electricity account can effectively be transferred to your bank account. See here for more details.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
If you have not received an automatic payment to your account by now, you may need to apply via the .gov portal. Most of us who got automatic payments received ours around 7th March.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Hannah here ๐ - have you received your payment automatically yet?
@retrotecchie is indeed correct โญ and you may need to apply if we haven't done so for you.

No I haven't, I applied through the portal nearly 8 weeks ago.
I Called the helpline who said my application had passed the checks and been handed onto my local council who will make the payment to the bank details supplied.
I then contacted my local council who informed me that there are delays due to lack of resources and clarity being needed from government regarding a few issues!
I think we are being strung along.....
