Yes indeed, however I would expect demand to be higher than usual after the Festive holidays. Usual demand is more than high enough at the best of times.
Anything we can try to help with we will. Failing that, any of the social media channels or Whatsapp might elicit a response quicker than hanging on the phone.

@retrotecchie it isn't a top up issue, it is having trouble submitting a reading. The system won't accept the figures as they are well below the previous estimate. The house has been empty for months so no change to readings from previous one. I now am back in Guernsey but want to submit a final reading as am renting it out

don't be silly think personally should be passed onto to the omnibusman no gas almost out of electricity so looks as if I'll be in the dark and cold because this lot can't man the phones for few hours you go on their website to contact them inside the hours that they have promulgated just not good enough even sent them emails suggesting that if people who use credit cards to top up should have prepaid metres put in to stop this problem happening got no answer waste of space this company
Hi @Pete657 I'm sorry to hear that you've had trouble getting through on the phone - today is the first day that the lines are open again after the New Year so the lines are pretty busy. Please can you let me know why it is that you're calling, I can see you've mentioned topping up, are you not able to do this online if you have Smart Pay As You Go Meters or if you top up by key/card, you shouldn't need to be calling to top up, as you do this manually in store.
If you can let me know what the issue is, I may be able to assist you further from here 😊
