I don't seem to be able to find this anymore. Is it still a feature on the monthly statements from Eon Next and if so, where do i find it?
Recommended monthly payments

On recent monthly bills on my on line account, there was always a recommended monthly payment based on my usage next to the actual amounts I am currently paying.

@Johnh1995
I've never seen that as my variable DD just pays my bill in full every month.
I think with caps changing every three months, EPG changing in April, uncertainty over ongoing support from the government and energy price trends...they've simply given up trying to guess anymore.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons. -

How does one switch to a variable DD and what are the benefits? My NextFlex payments are fixed and they keep raising the amount every time the price goes up regardless of the fact that I have about 3m worth of credit which is increasing steadily as they are taking the full amount and adding the Govt top up to my credit balance. -
@KayH
You will either need to phone customer services or drop them an email to hi@eonnext.com with a request to change to Variable DD, otherwise known as pay in full on receipt of bill.
That way, you will only be charged for the energy you use every month. Your bills will naturally be higher in winter and lower in summer, but you will only be billed for energy you use. If you have a credit already and still get the government credits for the next three months, they will knock the amount off your credits first before actually taking anything by Direct Debit. It will also mean you don't pay over the odds just to build up a credit balance over the summer.

Actually, if I give the lovely @DebF_EONNext a shout, she may even be able to 'press the right buttons for you'. -

Hi @KayH
I've removed your account number from your post just as this is personal to you! 😄
I've changed your tariff to the flat rate version instead of ECO7 - you'll receive an email confirming this. Your Direct Debit has also been updated from a fixed amount each month to a variable payment.Cool 😎 Calm 😌 Collected 🙌 - Here to help, or just for a chat if you like!

Hey @Johnh1995 I'm not too sure which part of the bill you're referring to here, are you able to post a screenshot of the part of the bill you've seen which has changed?

Many thanks! I understand my existing credit will be used up first before I have to pay anything - can you confirm please? -
@KayH
That's right. As @retrotecchie mentioned above, the credit on your account will be used for your bills first, only a debit amount will be taken 10 working days after your bill has been produced, which will only occur after the credit remaining on your account is no longer there 😊
