can not find my December winter payment o f£ 67.00 was due 1st of December but today is 23rd of December they say the back office has to sort it out what are they up to
Have a look on your account transactions. Did you actually get it but have it reversed, or did it just not show up full stop?
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Never got it they said phone back a few time,s but nothing we are 76 years of age when I phoned them they said I had £200 credit and what was all the fuss. That was our bit of luck we are careful they took direct debit but no £67.00 from government
The fuss is doing things correctly - is it possible it’s been refunded to your bank?
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
@TaffThings are a bit quiet on the forum at present - customers don't seem to be having as many problems as they did last year, so the moderators are doing a bit of work to check whether old issues were properly dealt with.
I find this quite strange, as they have also ensured that the forum isn't a back door to customer services, so most of the advice we give is along the lines of "the diagnosis is this, t- explain this to customer services and you'll be fine".. Which means the moderators don't often help actually deal with the problem, and so if they want to find out what has happened they have to resurrect old threads.
@Connor_EONNext seems to have drawn the short straw on this recently. If a thread dies out - in that there are no responses for a long time, my guess would be that the issue has been solved or resolved. I'm not sure what is gained by this retrospection, but others might offer some insight.
Hey @meldrewreborn You're right sometimes there is no good reason to start poking at an old thread. However the reason we're checking back is to engage with those customers. Maybe they can pop back and share their customer journey with us let us know what went right and what went wrong and if the post is super old and the customer still has issues this raises some red flags for sure and might be time to look into our processes.😀
@Taff It has been a while! It's great to see that you are still around! I'm sorry to hear that there was an issue with one of your payments. Was it never located in the end? Or did they explain what the issue could have been?
