If it's any consolation, she should then be paying both lots of standing charge...but I'm willing to bet she isn't.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
@meldrewreborn As @Marco mentioned before there is a lot more to it and I'm afraid it's not an easy fix, this will need to be passed onto our metering team and not something we can just fix or update on the account. It is already in the process of being fixed 😊

it is said to be impossible for2 MPAN’s to be linked to a single meter. If that were the case you would not be able to top up your meter at all. What is much more likely is that your meter and MPAN are linked to her address.
but clearly your situation is proving difficult to resolve, in more ways than one.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
The only situation where two or more MPAN numbers can be linked to a single meter is where it is a long-obsolete meter intended for HeatSave, Flexiheat or other complex four rate electrical heating system.
This is simply an administrative error. No more, no less. Not necessarily E.On Next's fault...the mix up could have happened years, or even decades ago. But E.On Next's responsibility, even if other agencies need to get involved.
@meldrewreborn read what I said above.
the government energy payments are going to her house ...not mine
I'd you can tell me how to get an mpann number for my meter and my address then tell me please. Please
Your meter already has a MPAN number. Trust me. It's just that it has been incorrectly assigned to your neighbour's address. Simple as that. Nothing any of us volunteers can do or advise now. This is for E.On Next to sort out.
The wires from the meter go to your flat. Your meter measures and charges for your energy.
