Our gas meter will not let us top up,can't see what gas is left and telling us to get help.Have been trying to ring EON for two days now and now frightened to use the gas as we don't know if it's going to run out.
Are you able to contact E.ON Next on WhatsApp at all (to contact on WhatsApp, send a message over WhatsApp to 08085015200) if you send a message stating that your meter is saying 'call help' someone will be able to assist you as soon as possible.

If your gas is still on, your meter should have gone into free vend mode, but you do need a replacement meter urgently. You will need to contact Customer Services and email or phone would be best.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Evening @Salbrown - @retrotecchie is correct and the meter has entered a 'free vend mode' of which the meter will continue to run.
As pointed out also we do need to get that meter fixed for you π I understand you have not had a reply to your email yet - have you tried contacting us via WhatsApp? As we are nearing the end of the day you will be more likely to get a response from one of our digital channels π
