@Pantsdonna
Try downloading the Hildebrand Bright App. It's free and you can see your usage down to half-hourly intervals. I was set a target of about 0.54kWh and can see from the app that I achieved 0.3kWh. I've heard nothing yet about a pass or fail. If you get the app the historic usage will show up right back for a year or so.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
I took part Wednesday 30th & Thursday 1st. I unplugged everything except Fridge Freezer, Outside Freezer, Broadband Ring Doorbell. My usage went down to 30 and they emailed to say i failed. How much more can be done? It’s not worth the effort if I don’t get anything.
@Pantsdonna Hi I know how you feel, but I've just received 2 results and earned more than they quoted me. The only thing I did differently this time as well as no TV and no lamps (even with led bulbs) was to turn off my fridge freezer and chest freezer for the hour. I didn't unplug them just turned the dials down a little bit so they weren't consuming any electricity at all. Then after the hour turned the dial back to its original position. That made a huge difference to my energy consumption. Not a problem for me to turn them down instead of getting down on my hands and knees to unplug them, otherwise I may forget to plug them back in!
Fridge freezers consume a fair amount of electricity and no harm would be done if unplugged for many hours - think a prolonged power cut!
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
@JoeSoap. Hi I was interested in the 'Hildebrand Bright App' that you describe, but only got so far through the registration process and its asking me for a serial number and mac address from a glow stick device which I don't have. How did you get around this please?
@Lindylu
Oh blimey! I have to confess I’m a real Luddite. MAC address and glow stick mean nothing to me. I remember I had to put in a GUID number or something which is printed on the IHD. Honestly, I really believe if I can do it then anyone can. I’ll have a poke around the internet and see if I can dig anything up.
Edit… try the GUID number where it asks for MAC address. Also see @retrotecchie’s post below. If all else fails I think you can provide a copy of your bill to prove you are who you are. Let us know how you get on.

Two versions of the app. The version that communicates with DCC to pull meter data from the servers. The other version works with a Glowstick, which is a Consumer Access Device, also available from Hildebrand, which interfaces between the HAN on the meters themselves, and your WiFi so you pull real time info direct from the meters themselves.
@theunknowntech may be able to provide some insight.

Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
I did the 22/11 event and still awaiting results. It's now over 2 weeks! Does anyone know who I can contact? I would like to continue with the Energy Shift project but I am losing confidence in the process.
I did the exercise on the 22nd of November and it is now over 2 weeks nearly 3, with no results! Is anyone else having the same problem? I've emailed customer services a few times but no reply.
