@retrotecchie I've just checked and these reads on 6th Dec where provided to us by @SteffiT so would be interesting to see how they actually got that second read? looks like at some point that 2nd read was working? or where would they have got the info?🤔

The appointment was for a two rate meter which would be the standard exchange since that is what was in prior.

UPDATE - I have just gone back in and it has let me pull both a Day and a Night rate! so that mystery solved! I can see now that its the 6th Dec reads that are way out!

Questions to answer

1) was supply two tier before the meter swap, and was a 2 tier supply requested by @SteffiT

2) is the new meter 2 tier or single tier.

3) What do the two large amounts on the 3 Dec relate to - old meter or new meter?

Apologies to @SteffiT over all this, it seems to get ever more complicated by the hour. My advice to keep the heating on despite these billing/invoicing issues remains, which I'm sure will be sorted out eventually, hopefully with some sort of compensation for the distress this is putting you through. You've got myself and @retrotecchie batting with you, so hopefully it'll get resolved soon. Volunteers are not privy to private conversations so we might not know the resolution unless you post your version here. We look forward to reading that.

In the photo of her account the big amounts are dated 3 December - I'm only going by what I can see. I just do not understand how charges can be dated 3 December if the readings relate to 6/7 December. The computer isn't psychic, is it?

There are a lot of figures that appear on a smart meter screen that have nothing to do with readings.

I'm going to temporarily cease commenting on this thread for several hours, or perhaps until tomorrow, to give more time for you to resolve the matter, I suspect a bit of calm rational thought will provide the answers.

1 - It was a like for like meter exchange, so was a two rate prior

2- The account is fully set up as a 2 rate meter including the tariff - we are just waiting on meter details from @SteffiT to see if they match with what we have on the system.

3- Those charges are still a mystery - but pretty sure they came from the 6 Dec read as this is what is showing on the account, there has been some backdating and reversing of charges so perhaps this is why it appears to have started on 3 Dec.. I'm going to find the original screen shot see if I can figure it out!

What I need to know:

1 -Meter details (which will need to be sent via PM for DPA reasons)

I am off again at 7 and @Bennie_EONNext will be keeping an eye on the thread for the rest of the evening, I think you all have been great helping and know that you have enough info to see @SteffiT if she pops back on later tonight.

@SteffiT Hi there! Good timing! I've been able to pull reads for both night and day so I don't need anything from you just yet! from what I can see you do have a two rate meter, a tariff to match and there was an issue with reads on 6th Dec that has resulting in a high bill, we are going to re bill this for you based on the correct reads and we shall go from there! so nothing needed from you just yet! Thank you for your patience in this! if we see any further issues crop up we'll let you know!

Yes, ignore everything between install (0 and 0) and the latest reads. Rebill between those two readings, job's a good'un. 👍😎

@Anasa_EONNext the account summary looks even more odd today, lots of payments in of odd amounts all on the 6 December and of course still £12000 in debit, doesn't make much sense. It now goes from a £1000 in credit (which it wasn't) to £12000 in debit. This very upsetting and I just want it to go back to normal.

only staff have access to the account - so why all the odd debits/credits. Perhaps too many fingers in the pie? There must be an audit trail which could be followed backwards to identify what is going on here. And still no explanation of why the large debits are dated 3 December, not 6 December.
