Thanks for the input. I have been referring to your previous posts on the issue. Getting a credit refund seems to be a bit if an inexact science where different people have different experiences. Glad it worked so good for you in this instance 👍
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

Update… It’s two weeks today since I had confirmation from customer service that a refund had been requested on my account. I consider myself a fair man so I’ll assume that as it was a Saturday the finance department got the request on the following Monday. So if I get the money in my bank account on Monday 5th December I’ll be heaping praise on them for delivering on target within 10 working days 🤞💰😂
Stop Press… just looked in my account and it’s showing Partial Credit Refund of £500 on 1st December. The credit balance has been reduced accordingly so my money is in the ether. Could be good for Monday then.

Conclusion… My credit refund of £500 has appeared in my bank account this morning, Monday 5th December. Given that my refund request was accepted on Saturday 19th November and probably received by the finance department on Monday 21st November, they have hit the 10 working days target and I’m happy with that 👍
... I hope you are treating FloSoap to a nice fish supper or something 😉
That's a good idea. I might get one for myself too. Mind you, the last time I went in the chip shop and said, ''Fish and chips twice'', the guy said, '' I heard you the first time''. 😂
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
@JoeSoap This is very helpful. I've emailed twice now requesting a refund. No reply to my emails! Even tried Messenger on Facebook. I'll try again with photos, maybe that will get a response. Thanks again for your information.
