As I said, getting the heat on in November is urgent, the debt we can probably sort out, but please bear with me. I don't work for Eon.next, I'm just another customer, same as you, just trying to help get all the ducks in a row so this can be dealt with without all the What's App 'ping-pong'.

Thanks I’ve been on WhatsApp tonight for 3.5 hours and they just aren’t responding. I am staying at friends tonight. It’s too cold to sleep in a flat with no heat.
Frankly I would like an email address for complaints so that I can share the WhatsApp transcript since 28 Oct to show how I have not been helped.
I appreciate your assistance. I will go to the flat tomorrow and try the heating. -

@lynzal Anasa here 👋 I'm so sorry to hear that you've had some trouble since you moved in, when you move into a property it's always best to give us a call or fill out the home moves form on line so that we know there are new tenants this will make sure that a new key is sent out to you so that you can start topping up on your own brand new account not using the previous key topping up the old tenants meter. Don't worry any money you have spent on the old tenants meter will be given back to you so you won't lose this just make sure you keep the receipt of any payments that have not gone onto your account.
The agent you spoke to is correct and the code should have been able to wipe the debt so we'll need to look into the steps you've made to find didn't work, have you sent up a new account in your name now? when you got a new gas card did you take it home and register it in your meter? What was the error when you put the card back into the meter after you took it to the newsagents? I was unable to locate your account details from the email address you've registered here with.

I have spoken to 8 different agents. One of them twice! None have been able to help.
I have never used the prior occupiers top up card. I was issued with a new card after speaking to one of the agents. The electric key worked fine. The gas card did not work as expected. I have not had any heating since I moved to the flat.
Yesterday I was instructed by agent #8 to go to the store today to collect a new card and register a new code. Again I got “transaction Cancelled”. It’s just a waste of time and energy. I am getting depressed just dealing with EON. I mean, two weeks and still not able to get my meter sorted. What century are we in?
I have absolutely zero confidence in EON and their agents.
they have taken my money and given nothing. Not even a decent service. I have lost hours on WhatsApp. It’s not interactive at all. -
@Anasa_EONNext. Did you say that gas emergencies are being escalated? Don’t make me laugh. I’ve been without gas since 28 October. EON don’t care
