Hi, does anyone know how long it takes for you to be able to see the energy usage in the app please? Mine is not showing yet for November even though octobers was wrong because it was the old rates, I've been taking my own meter reads and working it out myself.
It seems to take a good five days at the start of each month so any time now I think.
I use the Hildebrand Bright App which is bang up to date and shows usage down to half-hourly intervals as long as you have your smart meter readings set to half-hourly in your online account.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
@JoeSoap I tried downloading that but it's not compatible with my IHD, think you mightve recommended that to me before on another thread, I just wasn't sure how long it took to update on the app, think the app is shows the tariff that's on your bill before the EPG, I've just had my first month's bill from the start of the EPG and for gas and electric it was £92 then take the £66 plus we was at home for 2 weeks during school holidays and I have had the heating for an about an hour in the morning and a few times at night, and I'm still in credit of over £150 so I'm hoping that'll take me through the December month and I won't actually have to pay anything out of my account until then.
Ah, sorry you can’t get the Bright App. My Eon Next App shows the correct tariff rates but my IHD still shows my old gas rates. It seems many of us still have a few niggles after the October changes. I suppose as long as our bills are correct that’s the main thing.
Fingers crossed the app starts to show your November usage today or tomorrow.
@JoeSoap my IHD shows the correct tariff rates, but I've just took daily reads just to makes sure there's nothing untowards then I work out the gad and electric prices myself this month i work it out to be about £3 over what they had said so the actual bill was under what I had worked out .
Well, what do you know? I've just checked my IHD and hey presto... all the tariff rates are correct and agree with those shown in my online account and app. It must have updated overnight.
