Anyone having problems transferring ownership of solar panels?
I bought a house back in April with solar panels. I have filled out all the paperwork, I phoned up twice 1st call was no help. I then tried to message on Facebook, they didn’t know what I was talking about. Then I called the specialist solar panel number got through and was told that all my paperwork is fine and I am in a waiting list. That was over two months now I submitted all my paperwork back in April. It’s been 7 months now still haven’t heard anything. Don’t really find this acceptable as a new customer. Can anyone help?
Glad this has been sorted for you, I would expect the process to take on average in some cases 6-8 weeks so thank you for being so patient with us. It can take longer when we need different documents or if something is missing etc there's lots of checks that need to be done. Have you had the backdated payment yet? If not let me know and I will see what I can do for you. 😀

We bought our house in December 2021 which had solar panels so I emailed my transfer documents and everything else that was required on 07/01/22 and 16 months later still nothing!
Phone calls don't get me anywhere as apparently its still being processed!
Seriously how long does it take to transfer an account?
I have started a complaint but funny enough no acknowledgement email or anything so I guess I'm going to have to go down the ombudsman route.
I'm really sorry that you've had to go down that route 😥 and that the wait for this has been so long! Did they give any other info on the phone? Or just it's being processed?
