We are on Economy 7 but they aren't switching on at night; the lights on the isolator switches never come on and there is no hot water or heat from the storage heaters.
Any ideas what he has done wrong? There are 2 fuse boxes the top one has the normal stuff in and the bottom one has the storage heaters and the water heater so that is the one with the issues
On your off peak fuse board have you made sure it's switched on, the engineer may have left it in the off position after meter installation. If its on then its to do with the "Smart Meter" this is one of the reasons I refuse to have one.

Reason: spelling mistake
Looks like I'm getting someone out tonight to take a look
Well, it's likely that the heating/water system is RCD protected. Check the RCD hasn't reset...some older types drop out if they detect an imbalance when meter tails are faffed with.
It's also possible the meter wasn't configured correctly. You'll need to get customer service to reconfigure the E7 behaviour.
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...
Pete is an IHD Tariff Update Robot! 🤖 Anasa is a Giant Enemy Robot Spider 🕷 🤖 Hannah is neither! Need Customer service? click here! Replacement IHD Guide? Here it is!
On the 2nd call out this guy realized straight away the meter would never work with the tariff we are on so we just got the smart meter removed and went back to the dumb kind that works.
