@retrotecchie I signed up for this shift. I only had LED bulb in living room on and fridge on (I can't reach switch too high😃)
and sky router on which has 2 stay on.
Turned off everything else including freezer.
I did put heating on for hour b4 5pm switch.
Looks like I did lower usage a fair bit in 2 hours but don't know if it was enough. Will update when I hear something
I can see your online account from here, as you use the same email address on the E.ON Next website to manage your account online. I wanted to let you know that you're not actually opted into marketing so you won't receive communications in relation to Energy Shift unless you change this in your online account:

Top option should have a tick. You can still opt out of third party emails, yes Peter?
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

If you install the Bright Energy App on your Android or Apple smartphone you can get historical energy results down to 30 mins.
To get connected you have to enter some codes from the back of your IHD (In House Display) so there is no need to even look at the main electric meter.
Note that historical readings take about 24 hours to update and daily readings take a few hours before they appear.
@PeterT_EONNext brilliant thanks and also you @retrotecchie
Opted into marketing emails now and half hourly readings so hopefully I'll get a message when it next goes live.

Success!😃
reduced your energy usage by 75% which means you'll get £1.16 credited to your account.
only 1.16 but buys couple hours gas bill which is obviously high at moment.
surprised I managed to lower electric. much mostly by shifting time of use but also some overall reduction. I will keep eye out 4 next email

thanks @retrotecchie
got bright app all working today. Shows my electric dropped fom average of 0.05 to 0.02 during Monday time shift.
I really don't understand how this works...this time I was home but didn't bother to do anything different and apparently I saved 56% so get some money credited. So when I make an effort, I get nothing, when I don't make an effort, I'm rewarded!?
