If you can post photos of the meter(s), comms hub and IHD and a description of exactly what the lights on the comms hub are doing, I’ll tag our smart meter volunteer expert @theunknowntech and hopefully you’ll get some advice.I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit. -
It may take longer for the gas meter to reconnect. I'd give it another few weeks and see what happens.Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

It seems to be quite common for electricity meters to 'get their act together' quite well, but for the gas meters to take a bit longer.
I assume this is a function of the gas meter being 'slaved' to the electric meter/comms hub?
Lots of people are electric only, lots of people are dual-fuel, but I doubt anyone has a 'gas-only and no electricity' setup. There may be instances where there are two different suppliers and the gas supplier upgraded their meter to 'smart' before the electric did, and in that case the master/slave might be the other way about, but I would think that's fairly uncommon.
Where folks have both smart meters, it always seems to be the gas that takes longer to get in sync, from what I see.Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons. -
A total Gas-Only setup is extremely rare in the UK. So I doubt that'd be much of a problem. :)
However, the electric meter often completes Enrolment & Adoption slightly ahead of the gas meter. Mostly due to the fact the electric meter can do things MUCH faster! -
I do know of one such setup. In a previous life, I had 2kWp of solar PV which was plenty enough for my frugal electricity needs. As it was a DIY system and not MCS approved, it couldn't be grid tied, I simply 'pulled the plug' on the utility connection and had my supply disconnected. Mains gas I needed - I didn't fancy feeding a central heating system with bottled propane or investing in a Calor gas tank!
So I had a gas meter, and a gas account with OVO, but no electricity supply. As you say, rarer than hen's teeth!

Hi Guys. Well I’m sure gas was sending but hey I might be wrong. Elec been sending for around a year now I would say. But at least I can get readings from IHD
