Our smart meter readings have not been sent since 5/5/22. I have no idea why. I can still send manual readings, but why is my smart meter not sending readings??? Lights are flashing on the meter etc.
We have had regular smart readings sent starting from 4/11/18 until 5/5/22. We had change of supply on 22/10/20 and have had no problems between 4/11/18 and 5/5/22. No smart readings since 5/5/22.

Hi there. This is a customer to customer forum, so not a substitute for contacting customer services through the usual channels, but @theunknowntech may have some idea. Can you post a photo of your meter setup, and if possible give us a little more detail about your flashing lights, like which ones are flashing, how fast, etc.
Are you still seeing up to date data on your IHD?
If your HAN is working, your meter and IHD can chat happily. A WAN error indicates an issue with not being able to 'phone home' with readings.

Thanks for the reply. I'm attaching a photo. Could be an issue with the HAN?? It constantly flashes red and off. The 2 lights either side of this (WAN and PWR) are green. Model is Trilliant SEAP-2001-V.
I think @theunknowntech may be able to offer a little more insight. Trilliant comms hubs have some 'funnies' I seem to recall. I don't do the smartmeters, but he is a master of decoding the flashing lights!
Yup, dead HAN. This needs a closer look either by an engineer or with someone who has more access than me.

I'm saying nothing, but if you are anything like me you'd have the soldering iron out, the hood up and be forever tinkering around in the murky recesses!!
Just plugged in the old Npower display device black box (Duet II) and the HAN is now green and looks like the old Npower display black box is showing correct info - does not explain why readings are not being auto sent. Still calling EON.
Never bothered with the black display box before. (Duet II)
UPDATE: Electricity shows correct tariff on Duet II, but Gas is still showing old tariff.
I don't know if @theunknowntech will agree with me, but my guess then is that you have no HAN activity on the meter because your old IHD has lost the plot. The older device will still be paired via HAN to your meters, so will possibly work fine.
The gas tariffs do take much longer to update than the 'leccy meters, so it may just be that the latest gas prices haven't come down the (very slow) pipe yet.
HAN (Home Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network) are two different communication channels. ET not phoning home is usually a WAN issue.
