Hi
could someone explain my bill as it doesn’t seem to add up.
my transaction account shows credit for both Gas £239.63 and Electric £184.40 but when checking my Account balance statement it only show the electric value of £184.40. Where has the Gas credit gone????
As a dual fuel customer you only have one account balance that covers both fuels, not two.
Your balance was £239.63 after your gas usage of £65.27 was deducted, then your electric usage of £55.23 was deducted to give your current balance of £184.40.
We're other interested members of the public here, inthe main. I've heard of people having two accounts sometimes after being migrated from somewhere else?
Customer services are very busy, so if you can email or use one of the social media channels you can avoid hanging on a line and get on with the rest of your day - don't worry I'd be certain your credit is safe.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
Hi @Sparkydog - @meldrewreborn is right, customer services are a little swamped at the moment with everything that's going on! 😬
As you've already stated the amounts you're referring to on your transactions page online, would you mind posting a screenshot so I can have a look at it? I think I might be able to explain what you're looking at but can't without seeing this.

Hey @Sparkydog welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post 😊 Looking at these pictures @Andy65 has hit the nail on the head for this one & has given a fantastic explanation above.
So what you can see here is you were charged £65.27 for your gas this brought your balance to £239.63 you were then charged £55.23 for your electric which brought your balance down to £184.40.
You can actually download your full statement in the app or your online account where it will give you a full breakdown of your statement. If you are using the app it should come up like this if you then click download statement you will be able to see it in full.
