Can anyone suggest where I go next with this issue please ?
My mother who is elderly and unable to read a meter has smart meters which are not working.
I reported this on Twitter in July and have chased it several times. I have also sent a message on Facebook along with two emails. It was promised that this would be sorted, but it has not and I am now not receiving any replies.
Clearly she is anxious with the recent increases that her bills are all based on estimates.

I reported my smart meter not sending readings in July too and has not done so since April. Exactly the same for my next-door neighbour. When I rang Eon next in July they advised there were issues with smart readings and they had a backlog of about 8 weeks. A smart reading for electricity appeared on my account yesterday, nothing yet for my gas reading but hopefully they are resolving the problems and your mums will get sorted soon.😀

They were not sure when I spoke to them in July and said the electricity meter not sending Smart readings could be due to programming issues which appears to be the case now the Smart readings have started again. They also said my gas meter which was installed by Npower in 2017, is a Version one type, so I'm on their list for a new gas meter, whenever that will be.
