Submitted meter readings twice and they are not registering as they normally do. Anyone else having this issue? Obviously I want to keep an eye on usage and costs.
Probably best to send an email or WhatsApp to customer service and in the meantime submit a reading now and again to see if it registers. The important thing is to see if you have accurate readings on your bill when it arrives.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
@Elsiedarling
Me too, normally see the reading listed straight away but sent reading twice today and it is not there.
My next statement is due tomorrow perhaps I will see a Smart reading from Eon?
Thanks, I sent them a message via Twitter on private chat but 'experiencing high volumes of contact'. I assume there is no coincidence; it's the first month of the new higher tariff. Hope it gets sorted soon though because I'd like to know the amount. 😬
Had the same problem on Monday, finally appeared next day however have only been billed for my Gas (even though both gas and electric readings submitted together), two days later.. still no electricity cost despite the readings finally registering.. they also don’t appear to have correctly deducted the gas cost as it’s about £3 out on my new balance… 🤦🏻♀️
Yep, same here. Gas reading has been taken from smart meter automatically. Due to issue with Electric on smart meter I have to manually submit. Done it four times now over several days to no avail.
Ditto here. Submitted this morning - website says Thank you etc but the customary email did not arrive and the new readings do not show on my account. Tried again an hour later and then re-submitted with the same result. I've emailed hi@eon with the readings. I guess they must have cut back on their electricity usage for their computers and have forgotten to feed the hamsters. 🙄 And here I was thinking it was an automated system. As soon as this all settles down a bit I'm off to any other suppier. Two years of nonsense from this sixth form project of a system.
