I cannot understand how E-on manage my account. For example,
06 Oct HM Gov Discount EBSS + £66.00 Balance increases by £66.00
21 Oct + £67.00 Balance decreases bt £67.00
What on earth is going on! I'm up to date with the EBSS and was expecting the £66 but not the deduction of £67 (marked as 'in') for no apparent reason.
Contacting E-on by phone or whatsapp has not yet succeeded.
I've no idea but is the £67 amount shown in Green or Black?
It is taking a long time to get a response from customer service at present. I had a reply to a WhatsApp this morning after two weeks waiting so there is light at the end of the tunnel. Alternatively, if you can phone at 9am when they open, you may spend less time on hold than phoning at other times.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

Please check that your bank account has not received a payment into it. If you have, then this is almost certainly the reason for this second entry.
As to why (if the above is the case)? No idea why you received a refund without knowing your account ledger.
Hi - similar has happened to me, see my thread entitled 'Account Query' as there are some interesting replies there too - although still no definitive answer.
£67.00 as arrived in my bank account which explains what is going on.
Don't understand why £67 and not £66, but it's clear from others that E-on's accounting system has a problem with clarity.

BTW; E-on have replied to my whatsapp text - they've sent me a normal text message asking me to resend the whatsapp message quoting a unique reference number. Apparently I will receive a reply 'within 48 hours' and they 'will prioritise my message'. I've responded as requested and added a couple of other questions for them to answer. This will be interesting.
The £400 grant is split into six payments, four of £67 and two of £66. Otherwise, it would be 6 equal payments of £66.666666 recurring, or £66.66 and there would be a random fourpence left sculling around somewhere!
