It's not on my latest bill of 28th September, they're either adding it as a result of the National Grid scaremongering or you're going to the only one cut off to save the rest of us 🤣
I suppose they will cut you off in the off peak period so you use more in the peak price period. Nothing would surprise me!
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
Just in case anyone is not sure about their letter, it should be on your bill here...
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

Unfortunately I don't think there's even a slight chance of power cuts but it would be fun to see it happen. People go into a meltdown these days if a mobile network or an app like Facebook goes down for a few hours.
It was kind of fun in the early 70s sitting in the evening next to a candle.

In which case you need to move to a sparsely populated rural area in Wales where you are at the end of a 3 mile long 11kV overhead run with a pole transformer a hundred yards from the house. All uninsulated wires, of course.
We see 210 volts on a good day, unless the dairy up the road are milking in which case it drops to about 205 and the lights go dimmer. A bad day is where the weather has taken the distribution lines out, or where someone has stacked a hay trailer just a tad too high and takes out the overhead LV feed to your hovel! At least we do have the full 60A capacity service, according to the DNO main fuse...
On a plus note, kWh meters read a few percent lower round here...V x A x t still holds, but if the volts are on the low side...winner winner, chicken dinner!
Moving home is very stressful- look what it’s done to @retrotecchie! Banished to the boondocks- in fact they might have been preferable. Do they have extradition agreements with the rest of the world?
