@JoeSoap you are very welcome 😎. I'm glad we could get it fixed for you and sorry that it didn't go quite right the first time around but rest assured feedback has been passed on ( @Han_EONNext made sure of that) so this doesn't happen again 😊
Hi @DebF_EONNext, Just thought I’d give an update on my tariff switch. My new DD is showing in my account as £320 but it never got taken this month (normally 16th) and is now showing as due in May. I did message @Han_EONNext about it to get her thoughts as she was going to adjust my DD amount after the switch but she’s not around right now.
My intention was to make a manual one-off payment for this month and hope it goes through ok and then hope the DD starts getting taken again in May. Any thoughts on this?
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
We have to allow 10 working days for any direct debit updates to take effect as it takes time to communicate and update with the bank before the changes come into place. It sounds like there just wasn't enough time between making that change and your payment due date, so it sounds like what's happened is the direct debit has been cancelled for April and will start again in May.
I would (as you have suggested) make a one off payment to cover your usage for April. You should be able to do this from your online account 😊 Your direct debit will be due to come out in May as expected.

Thanks Deb. That’s what I’ll do then. I just thought that they might take the old amount this month and then it would update next month. I read this forum too much so think my manual payment will disappear into the ether as has happened to some 😂
