Big thanks to @Han_EONNext and @DebF_EONNext for getting together and identifying errors in Customer Service's handling of my request and getting me onto my new variable tariff with rates as per the chart posted by @Mailman some time ago. My account is already updated, my DD is being reduced and a gesture payment has already been credited to my account. I'm very impressed π

Yep! I can confirm that I switched tariffs yesterday to NextFlex DD for both fuels and my confirmation email, IHD, Bright App, online account and Eon Next App all have the correct tariff rates showing.

Totally unfairπ. Well done anyway ππ. I'm stuck with my IHD along with the Bright app with completely the wrong tariffs.
Oh yes also a dumb smart gas meter that the smart team say needs a firmware update some time this year. You can tell I'm not envious can't you! π
I sympathise with you. It wasn't all plain sailing to get where I am but it came right in the end. I know some folk have trouble with their smart meters and IHDs to an extent where they just wish they didn't have them, and that's why (quite rightly) they post on forums like this. Few satisfied customers would take the trouble to post stuff as they're only getting what they expected to get. Maybe mine are all ok as I have SMETS 2 and only have a simple dual fuel account with no solar panels or Economy 7 etc. Personally, I really like my smart meters and IHD.

Smart meters are definitely the future. I think (if only I had a crystal ball) that I should have waited a bit before jumping in. I'm SMETS1 with dual fuel. Hey ho onward and forward. π€ We'll get there π.
