Hello, I've not yet received the government support vouchers for October. Has anyone on prepayment with eon next actually received them yet? I can't get through on the phones to ask if they have been even been sent. Everyone else I know on a prepayment meter who is not with eon next has received theirs already. Thanks
I haven't received mine yet either, I emailed them and got this response today (21/10), which doesn't fill me with confidence:
I've been advised to let customers on PrePayment to wait until next weekend as that will bring us to the end of the month, and if they still haven't received any vouchers at that point, feel free to reply to this email and get back in touch with me, and I'll be able to send off a form to get those vouchers to you.
I think she's going to be sending out a lot of forms.....which will probably take a few months to process.......
@ChillyUpNorth they've filled in a form for me today because i still havent received mine , the man on the phone said it would take 2-3 weeks for the replacement to arrive to make sure the original has been lost i asked if the orignial turned up before the replacement? He said no because that is now deactived so why do i still have to wait almost 3 weeks i dont understand it
I did get a letter tho last thursday (3rd) saying we have noticed you havent used your October voucher yet but has of today ( 10th ) still nothing hoping one of them turn up pretty soon
My first advice is to go into your app and/or online account and check that all your personal details are correct.
Secondly, do you get both your gas and electricity from E.On Next? If you get your electricity from a different supplier, the discount is their responsibility.
Thirdly, you do have traditional card/key prepay meters, yes? If you have standard credit meters, the discount is applied to your account. If you have smart prepay meters, the credit is automatically applied directly to the electric meter.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
