My smart gas meter was installed in April, but has never logged a reading with my account. I am also unable to manually add readings on my account page for this meter. My old dumb meter is still on my account and I could add readings to this even though it no longer exists.
Welcome to the community 👋. It sounds like your meter hasn't been updated correctly on the system. Do you know what date your meter was installed, is there an exchange label on the meter (usually a yellow sticker)?
You will need to contact our energy specialists for this one, it's generally an easy fix; just a case of updating the meter details and recording the meter exchange. Our energy specialists will need some information such as the meter serial number, your MPRN, the exchange date, the initial reading and your current reading. It would help if you also have a picture of the meter handy as it will make things quicker.

The MRPN Shouldn’t be necessary as it’s recorded against your online account - and is shown as part of the supply number on top right of page 2 of your bills. In the oval it is the lower line of figures.

My smart meter is listed on my account, I just cant add readings, I tried the phone option on Friday, phone went flat after 2 hrs, not doing that again.
