Reason: cos i can
There’s no point in pretending it isn’t difficult to contact Eon Next Customer Service right now and you do need the patience of a saint when waiting days for a response to an email etc.
Some are getting through on the phone and I have read that phoning as soon as the lines open at 9am can get a reply in minutes.
If you have a question then you could post it here and perhaps someone can help. I can’t give any guarantees but there’s no harm in trying.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Hi
I was informed on my on line account that I would be credited £66 and my direct debit would be only charged for the remainder of my monthly direct debit amount which because I pay £80 a month would work out as £14.
However my eon account does show the £66 credit but they have also taken the full £80 direct debit.
The full £80 was taken for your September bill, which is payable in arrears and was accrued before the price increases and the scheme came into force. The £67 is an advance credit towards your October consumption because that is when the prices increased and what the payments are to help with.
You said it. Contact is near impossible. Not everyone can hang by the phone prior to 9am.
I pity the poor agents that have to deal with the current situation on STD’s & Unit Pricing.
@nicnoc Good morning and thanks for your patience, Anasa here 👋 It's great to have you over here on the Community although I'm sorry to hear that you've had a tough time trying to get hold of us, we have been a bit busier than usual. I've just had a quick look but I'm not able to locate your account from the email address you registered with, were you able to to get this sorted out?
