I want to know why they have taken 2 more gas readings days after my last bill and deducted it off the £66 from the government? I have given up they have won my head is now so screwed up with it all i have given up.

Thank you but i wont hold my breath because eon next dont care i have given up i have tried every avenue to try sort it and get help all to no avail. All i get is a bot i ask to speak to an agent but fail. I phone eon next but just get cut off after waiting on the phone for over 40 mins. 4 months this has been happening now and my head has given up.

I am interested in your smart meter issues. Did you choose to have one fitted or were you pressurised into having one fitted on the basis that you had agreed under the terms of your contract?

I was told that if i took the tariff i am on now i had to have both electric and gas the smart meters fitted.

@Johnh1995 some of our tariffs require a smart meter, and if you choose to take out a smart meter - dependent tariff you will have to get one.
There is options to not have a smart meter of course, and if you choose to not have one that is absolutely okay too! (we would put you onto a different tariff).

Ok. Both my electric and gas smart meters where both read on the 22nd September. I was billed saying payment of £92.09p would be taken out of my bank on the 7th October which it was. I want to know why eon next then decided to take gas meter readings again on the 30th September then again on the 8th October. WHY??? This will screw my readings up again for October. I am getting very angry and very stressed with the messing about with me meter readings for the last 4 to 5 months now eon next have messed me about. I would like a full explanation WHY this happened please and I would like a reply asap and not for me to run around for hours trying to contact you again. Thank you. Mr Karl Newbold.
