Has anyone noticed that there energy usage in the app not the ihd doesn't look right . So mine is saying so far for electricity in October I've used 11kwh at a cost of £7.41 but if my tariff is 33.02 then 11 kwh should be around about £3.63/3.64 mark surely, its the same for the gas that seems wrong, I'm checking my meter usage every day and my ihd is reading the right electricity tariff but not the gas so I'm working that out by times the kwh by the tariff rate to get the right amount, its driving me crazy as every day I'm checking it and worrying. On a plus side I've gad the first £66 credited to my account.
@JoeSoap I rang them this morning, he sent a signal so now my ihd is working correctly and as for the usage in the app he didn't know what was happening there, he said if it's because of all the changes etc then that will be of no use whilst the epg is ongoing, so I'm just using the ihd, he did say the bill is produce with what energy you've used on the smart meters not the app and assured me my bill would be 100% correct he said it might have the rate at the old tariff on the bill but you'll see the epg rate deducted from it so it'll be correct, i must admit he was very good, he rang me back this morning as he had to look into he has also raised an issue with the in app usage he said it could just be mine or nationwide so if yours is showing incorrectly its more than likely to be everyone
@JoeSoap I don't blame you, I'm a major worrier but I'm just going to leave it now, my ihd is working correctly so I can finally rest a bit and maybe get a good night's sleep
The figures in the APP are rubbish. The only figures that you can rely on to be anywhere nearly accurate are the ones you read directly off your Gas/Electricity meter display. The IHD and APP are at best a guide.
@hendersonm I've been taking meter readings everyday and noting them down so I can work out each month hiw many KWH I've used and work out what the cost is roughly, my IHD is now showing the correct tariffs for gas and electric, I'm more inclined to believe what the ihd is saying as the usage in the app doesn't add up to any tariff so far, its made me worry so much and with other costs going up too, hopefully by December we will all have an idea on what we can and can't use energy wise within our budgets x

Ignore your IHD and app. Read your proper meter on the first of the month, and read it again on the first of next month. That's how much you've used.
Multiply it by the unit price, and that's how much you owe. Add on 31 days standing charge and you have a total for the month.
Or if you like, do it every Sunday morning and then add on 7 days standing charge. If you've got young children, get them to do it with you so they see the point of Maths and multiplication tables.
and then once they've learned how to do that, teach them how much it costs when they leave the lights/tv/computer on!
