Hiya recently had a smart pay as you go smart meter fitted yesterday I was wondering how long it takes for your money from your old meter To go on to your new smart pay as you go meter?, thanks
@Aaronculley if you have Smart Meters but get a top-up voucher, take it to the post office anyway because they can use the barcode in the app to top-up your Smart Meters in the same way they can for any other Prepayment Meter.
However, with Smart Meters, the credit should be delivered automatically, provided everything's working.

What a time to get a new meter in the midst of all the confusion at present. Hopefully someone will be able to answer your question on here but if you have a lot of patience you could try phoning customer service in the meantime. Some people manage to get through in a short amount of time but it's more often a wait of a couple of hours right now.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
I know and I did ring them yesterday it took me ages to get through to them! And that was only to top up my account. Thanks Hope someone answer's my question.
If you've had a MEX around this time, your supplier will make arrangements to ensure you still get the EBSS money - but it may take longer than usual to deliver.

still waiting for my credit after 5 days I’ve tried WhatsApp messenger email and phones today was told it can take about 10 days to credit meter with your existing amount, also told that the voucher can be taken to a Post office however o don’t have a key any more so can only top up on the app, was also told that only one person can have the app, not very helpful person I spoke to didn’t sound confident, I guess I’ll play the waiting game untill my £75 gets credited if it ever does ??
