Is anybody else's gas not updated yet on their IHD? My electricity is correct I'm hoping by tomorrow it will have updated, and am I right in thinking that on the ihd if I set the gas to show me how many kilowatts I'm using I can just times that by what I know my new tariff rate is and I'll get the around about correct price? I think someone said you can so 6.11kwh x 10.24 would be around about 62/63 pence or am I working it out incorrectly and it would be £6.20/6.30. If anyone can clarify/ help me with this because I'm thinking I've only ran some home water to do the dishes and put the getting on for a little while this morning, thank you

IHD updates need to be requested through customer service now.
My IHD shows usage including standing charge and VAT. It has not yet updated.
To work out your gas costs just do the same as your electric costs. See your previous question and my answer in the link below…

@JoeSoap i was requested last Saturday via costumer service. They was told me it's will be updated from midnight. Today we have Thursday and I still on old tarrif. Really they are useless 🥺

Personally I have not attempted to contact customer service throughout this whole period of change. They are overwhelmed so I’ll just give it a while to see if all my tariffs update where they should. When all the fuss dies down if they still need updating then I’ll send a WhatsApp and see what happens. -
@JoeSoap when I spoke to them he told me how to update the electric which worked but the gas hasn't, my ihd is old too and they said if you want a new one you have to buy it, he did say it should be updated by the end of the week also the usage in the apps completely incorrect too.

@Martintel i contacted them through messenger on Saturday and WhatsApp a few days ago and they never replied, I rang them at 9 o'clock and it only took a few minutes to get through.
I never used to have my ihd plugged in until recently and honestly I'm becoming obsessed with checking and trying to work things out and the worry of it all is really getting me down like alot of people, I noticed someone said they had contacted people through the accounts etc but they only thing I ever noticed was a purple shaded box on the website with a vague reason why things are wrong etc.

I don’t know what to advise any more. Some things can be dealt with on this forum but for things like this, if customer service can’t sort it then I don’t know what else to say.
We’re told that our tariffs and bills will be correct so I’m hanging on to that for now. All the errors in the system are taking more time to remedy than we’ve been led to believe. It’s frustrating but I’m just going to keep trying to be patient.
