Good morning everyone, today is sure a chilly one ๐ฐ.
We are currently experiencing some traiffic which means there issues when topping up your Smart Pay As You Go meter. This does not mean that you are unable to top up, we are seeing that things are not automatically going onto the meter in some instances.
When this is the case and your top up is not directly going to the meter you will need to use the unique UTRN number to key in the top up. Please manually key this into youe meter - when you top up in the text & email confirmation you will see this number ๐.
An example would be:
'You have topped up your electricity meter by ยฃ1.00. Top up code: 1234 5678 1234 5698 please use this if this isn't showing after an hour or so. Thank you, E.ON Next'
Use the code that you find in texts and emails to top up for the meantime. We do apologise for this happening, and we are working hard in the background to sort this.
