I've got a minor issue with my online account, under tariffs. The amounts seem to be correct but the wording is wrong. It should read Next Online V18 not Next Flex for electricity.
Also my IHD has only had the tariff for electricity updated. Gas is not correct.
Well, as I see it they thought you would be better off by moving you to Next Flex for electric instead of leaving you on your fix. For gas they left you on your fix as it was better for you than moving to Next Flex.
I could be wrong but that’ll how I read it.
If you take your old fix electricity tariff and subtract 17p from the ex vat rate then add the vat back on at 5% then you’ll get an idea of what your new rate would have been if you stayed on the fix.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
The electricity rates are correct for Next Flex in the North west. Does that compute? If so, then the Gas unit rate is correct - the unit price has been reduced to the floor price for fix tariffs (it's also the EPG flex rate) But the EPG only affects unit prices - it doesn't affect Standing charges and your gas standing charge would be 28.49p per day (VAT inc) on the latest next flex so you're OK staying on the fix. 99% sure.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

Can these issues be corrected?
Kind regards
If you wish to pay more per kWh on your electricity then you need to contact Eon. This is the thrust of the link. TBH, I'm envious as I want to see my electricity rate lowered to the regional Next Flex EPG rate.
As an aside, re the IHD, try to get my accustomed , if you can, to thinking in terms of how much energy you use (until the IHD updates) so leave it on kWh rather than £.
