I can see that some of our pricing analysts have been looking at your accounts and the credits you're seeing are to counteract the differences in unit rates/standing charges that can't be amended at tariff level currently (whilst fixes are still being looked into) just to make sure you're being billed correctly.
I'm still chasing this up internally and will let everyone know as soon as I know more!

Please do - difficult for some customers to know whether these small credits are correct without some precise methodology to explain how these credits have been arrived at.
So when you said that the incorrect tariff rates showing were purely cosmetic and we are actually being charged the correct cap rates was a load of old tosh???! And you have in fact charged people at the incorrect rate and are having to add money into our accounts to compensate? A month after the changes were announced and you still can't correct a simple tariff rate. Unbelievable.
And it looks like we will be going through this muddle again in April now that Jeremy (C)Hunt has decided to scrap the current price guarantee. A mess piled upon a mess. I can't wait!
I have just revived a renewal quotation and the unit prices are nowhere near what the government has agreed. Electric SC 43.26 and 51.32kwh, Gas SC 28.48 and 14.75 kwh. Are you going to change these as i am in the process of changing suppliers. No one answering phone calls and not had a reply from e-mail.

His name is Jeremy Richard Streynsham Hunt. You are obviously mistaking him for someone else with the name you think he has.
@onyourbike and @Mailman My apologies, the info I stated previously was correct at the time, as this is what I was told - I've messaged one of our pricing analysts to get a clearer message on what is happening with this as I would like answers as to how these amounts have been determined too.
Are you currently in a fixed rate tariff which is due to come to an end? If so, it's likely that the quote you're seeing is based on the Next Flex prices before the Energy Price Guarantee, and these will be adjusted should your tariff end and you roll onto the Next Flex.
If you're in the process of changing suppliers, it's likely that your supply will switch before you tariff end date (if this isn't within the next 7 days)

I have submitted meter readings today to see what I would get charged, the bill has been generated:
I have been charged the following rates:
Electricity
Energy Used 110.0 kWh @ 57.59p/kWh
Energy Price Guarantee 110.0 kWh @ 17.00p/kWh
Gas:
Energy Used* 108.0 kWh @ 14.499p/kWh
Energy Price Guarantee 108.0 kWh @ 4.22p/kWh
This is quite frankly unacceptable, the v19 tariff only came into affect for me on 1st October, I emailed early September (when the EPG was announced) asking to NOT move me to v19 on 1st October - and was told this was not necessary because the prices would be changed to reflect the EPG and I should not do anything. Several emails have been exchanged since then with me expressing my concern but was told flat out not to worry, it would be ok......... well it clearly isn't!
