It was 49.63p excl. vat. So... 49.63p - 17.0p = 32.63p. Then... 32.63p x 1.05 = 34.26p incl. vat

My new rate is 35.06p incl. vat. So, am I being diddled out of 0.8p/kWh?

Maybe all academic if we're heading to the floor for elec and gas anyway.

You might be the break-even customer.

Diddled out of an extra £8/year on the tariff rate (per 3000kWh) BUT you might be about even after taking into account a slightly reduced set of standing charges on v17. I calculated that the v18 SC was £8.33/year less than the EPG Cap/SC rates. That is another calculation for you....

Good grief, you have a better head for figures than me! I started looking at that because on v19 the standing rate is slightly lower, but my brain then went to mush 😂

According to the regional figures for the SW, the EPG is:

Electricity:
Unit rate: 33.86p per kWh
Standing charge: 52.64p per day

Gas:
Unit rate: 10.43p per kWh
Standing charge: 28.49p per day

For v19 my current figures are:

Electricity:
Unit rate: 42.62p per kWh
Standing charge: 51.63p per day

Gas:
Unit rate: 10.80p per kWh
Standing charge: 27.22p per day

Honestly, my head really is hurting................ 🤪

I think you may be right. I had already observed my SCs have remained as per my fix at E 37.92p and G 27.22p.

I won't be doing any more calculations but I will sit tight still and wait to see if my rates reduce further or I get some back-dated compensation as suggested in an email response from Eon Next that was posted elsewhere on here several days back.

Yes my rates have been reduced by the standard amounts, I'm in the NW

But not to EPG levels.
Gas current 10.66, EPG cap 10.33
Elec current 42.23, EPG cap 33.48

What hasn't happened though is any adjustment on DD's, my DD is £586 based on original v19 but should be £380 based on EPG cap
