I have abandoned my attempt to get through to a person by phone.
I have tried Whatsapp with absolutely no response.
I am trying to make sense of the emails which I have received. Can anyone verify my query?
There is a statement which says that if the EBSS payment is greater than the DD, which mine is, there will be a payment holiday until April 2023.
Is this correct as the email states that my DD is going to increase on October 5th.
The increase in the projection from October 2022 is £96.20 which over 12 months equates to £8 per month.
What's going on?
If I don't get a response today, I AM going to cancel my DD, just to trigger communication from you.
I wouldn't recommend cancelling your DD as it'll mess up EBSS delivery. Also, most of the debt collection process is automated anyway, so you won't get a human in the loop until much later on.
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

Cancelling your DD increases your prices. Patience is required - it will all be sorted soon. So many people are trying to contact customer services that they can't cope. If you cancel your DD you will only add to the problems and I doubt that it will get the response you anticipate. The order that people are receiving messages and the content of those messages is highly confusing - but i can only presume that the design of the platform didn't anticipate the EPG and conforming to government rules has proved quite difficult.
