My IHD has updated with the correct EPG tariff so changes are coming through. Even though my account still shows the wrong rates I am fully confident that it will be corrected in due course.

@meldrewreborn
Well if 'knowledge is power' perhaps that will increase in price also - I'd shop around. -
@Cosmo59
its a fundamental concept within the capitalist system, which although imperfect is the best known so far.Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless. -
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

Mine was showing a high rate from Saturday until this morning, just checked it now (Monday lunchtime) and its been adjusted.
Phew! -
In the abscence of being able to open a new thread has anyone had Eon mix their day and night rates up and if so what happened?
After two years they’ve finally managed to talk to my smart meter and today they managed to take a ‘smart’ reading that has mixed the day and night rates up. Apparently it hasn’t occurred to them that the day rate went down several thousand units between yesterday and today..🤷♂️
My in credit account is now nearly £400 in debit. I fully expect them to stick that to me and I’ll have to suck it up, any idea what I can do about it other than try and point out the obvious but in the absence of being able to communicate with them I’m a bit stuck… -
Take photos of your meter readings @solomondogs as evidence, you'll still have to persevere with trying to contact them but at least you've got proof.
-
Cheers Andy, got photos of everything, I learned that lesson over 20 years ago but its good advice...👍
-
They've corrected the meter readings this morning but they're still insisting that 22 day units and 12 night units come to £370...!
-
@solomondogs
Well that’s something at least. As long as the meter readings on your account tally with what is actually on the meter and the unit rates on your account are correct then the rest should eventually fall into place.
