Your DD was £480 prior to 1st October. Your unit cost has now reduced. Your DD is now £414 due to the EBSS. But… there has been no reduction in your notional DD as a result of your reduction in tariff rates brought about by the EPG.
Have I got that right? If so, I’m in exactly the same boat. My strategy is to wait until my DD is actually taken and then make a move from there.
If they take too much then I will have a greater credit balance. I can then request a whole or partial credit balance refund, a reduction on my DD, or a combination of both.
Once again my strategy involves a bit more patience.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Hey @DiscoDrew, Beki here!
@JoeSoap was right and we have still been applying some fixes to accounts, but the great news is that the new direct debit amounts should all be showing now. I've just had a quick glance at your account and your DD seems to be lower than what you have mentioned above. Please reach out if there are any issues and I'll see what I can do. 😊
@martinward
The wording on accounts and the app is slightly confusing. For each of the first two months, October and November you receive a credit of £66, and £67 per month for the remaining four months, totalling £400.
