Hello

I have a smart meter that provides meter readings for both Gas and Electricity, I checked today to to make sure that everything was working properly on the advice NOT to submit a meter reading today if you are on a smart meter as this isn't necessary.

The reading on my ELECTRICITY meter is the same on the Smart Meter/Display and the Eon Next portal (albeit it only submitted once a month so the reading is slightly higher now).

The reading on my GAS meter is the same on the Smart Meter/Display but is different on the Eon Next portal. My reading on the Meter is 6 digit number with a leading 0 however, on the portal is is a 4 digit number. The Gas reading is 094145kw however, on the portal the last number is 8405 submitted on the 15th September ?

I've tried getting through to Eon with no success.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this ?

Meter readings are in M3, but get converted to kWh on the portal.

Hi @gmcguire

If you log in to your account and click through as though you were manually going to enter a Gas reading, it will show you the previous meter reading in M3.

Thanks, get it now, I was expecting all readings for Gas and Electric to be submitted in the same format (or at least the only formats the smart meter display displays), I've found the M3 reading on the actual meter now and all looks correct. Thanks for your help.
