I was an Eon customer, moved away and came back to Eon.
In the meantime, I lost my monitor and I am looking for a replacement.
I can see from the Eon website that my old IHD was a SMETS 1 smart meter IHD.
On the ivie site, I can see from my address that the IHD should be compatible.
When I looked at other threads and saw my same set up it suggested that I had the earlier smart meter, should it work ok with the ivie IHD as suggested from the website?
The ivie Bud is designed to be compatible with both SMETS1 and SMETS2 meters and it should adapt itself automatically upon pairing.

Hi Sam. I"m wondering how this worked out for you. Someone took the IHD from out rental before we moved in. Eon said that the First generation smart meters wouldn't connect to the evie bud. I tried my address on the website but it says my address doesn't exist so that's not much help lol! Let me know.

Try contacting both Chameleon via https://ivie.co.uk and Hildebrand via https://shop.glowmarkt.com and ask them to run a manual check. If either the ivie Bud or Hildebrand Glow IHD is verified as compatible, you can use that one.
