Please help me E.ON
E.ON refuse to commissioiner the GEO IHD

Unfortunately for me i had a smart meter installed right at the time my previous supplier went bust. Since being taken over by E.ON ive been trying to get them to comission the smart IHD but the best they can up with is provide me with a link to a third party website to buy a new IHD for £50 ..... surely this cannot be right the GEO is in working order and can only be commissioned by my supplier .... well that is what GEO tell me .....
Please help me E.ON -

My friend has previously spoken to one of Geo's employees and had confirmation that this indeed be possible. @PeterT_EONNext can you tag a note by any chance?Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

Hi @Mark21 I'm sorry to hear that the IHD wasn't connected when your previous supplier installed your Smart Meter.
What does it currently say on the screen of the IHD when it's switched on? Also, is the HAN light on your meter flashing every 5 seconds?
If the IHD screen is showing a device ID (lots of numbers and letters with dashes in between) please send a picture over here so I can take a look.
