The easiest way to use the Hildebrand Bright app to get real-time data is by having a Hildebrand Glow IHD or Glow Stick paired up to both the app and meters via the CAD functionality.
Failing that, Hildebrand Bright might be able to do some tricks to get something out of the meters, but not until the Comms Hub is firmware updated due to the pesky Trilliant bugs.
S2 versions of the Glow Stick are coming soon!

@dazzlr I am sorry I have only just picked this up! - I do understand the frustrations with the IHD. I am really sorry that on this occassion the Ivie Bud is not compatible 😶.
There is a big back log within the company at the moment, and there is a big waiting list for answers. I did submit this to our metering team on the 05.09.2022 but I haven't not had a response yet. In the meantime we need to gain accurate reads from you.
I will let you know as soon as I get an update!

Thinking about replacing your boiler? You can find out more about our boiler solutions 👉 HERE 👈
Some would say you have the ideal solution, a smart meter installation working in traditional mode. Hopefully I’ll be able to join you when my traditional meters are removed.
OFGEM has placed more pressure on suppliers in recent months to tackle this type of situation but I doubt we’ll see much progress very quickly.
Have you tried making a complaint? It might just elevate you to the to PM of the (very long) list of those waiting for replacement meters. One factor has been the finding that it’s comms issues that lie behind most meters problems, with no fault found in over 90% of meters removed. This situation costs us all very dearly, due to the way meter costs are handled throughout the country, irrespective of supplier.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
Cheers @meldrewreborn, interesting viewpoint! At one point my 'smart' meter wasn't automatically sending readings, however this has since been resolved and so I am at least getting some benefit from it.
We have recently switched power source for our heating from LPG boiler to an air-source heat pump, and therefore I am very keen on monitoring electricity usage to a much finer degree than before. Plus having an IHD on the kitchen countertop may help persuade some of the household from careless use of appliances (one can always hope).
Is there ANY IHD product that works with a SMETS1 meter?
* I will make this a new post
ps. will be making a complaint but wanted to get the latest news from this forum first.
in those circumstances I think you’ll continue to struggle to get anything done. I doubt IHD suppliers have any desire to produce devices to work with SMETS1 meters, and energy suppliers don’t regard the IHD as an essential component - so much for the TV ads which emphasise their utility.
there used to be devices that worked from a detection clamp on the live cable from the meter. Whether they are still available or not I don’t know , but you have more incentive than I in finding out.

I'm not sure putting in a complaint will have much effect as your meters are producing smart readings and if need be you can take manual ones.
Also not totally convinced that many pay that much attention to the In Home Display. Maybe that's just me.
I have the same equipment as yourself and not expecting replacing them until they get to their Best Before Date or complete system failure.
If you want to monitor accurate daily usage then the Bright app (which gives as much info as an IHD but not live), Eon Next app, and spreadsheet seem to be more effective.
